About the ARFF Agility Club
The ARFF Agility Club was founded in 1993 by a small group of Boston-area agility enthusiasts. The purpose of our club is the advancement of dogs and handlers in agility training, and to promote an interest in, and a public appreciation for, agility-trained dogs and agility competition.
ARFF encourages its members to set an example of good sportsmanship while striving for excellence in agility competition. Our club offers many opportunities for members to learn, train, and participate in agility with their canine partners.
Weekly club practices are held nearly year round indoors and out, with both full courses and small skill sets being offered. ARFF hosts workshops and seminars that are led by some of the best international and national competitors, such as Laura Dolan, Erin Schaeffer, Abbie Tambor, Lo Baker, Anne Andrele and Elicia Calhoun.
ARFF takes great pride in the successes of all our active teams, from our beginners to our more experienced nationally and internationally competing pairs. We especially treasure our strength in providing a nurturing place for novices to grow.
We publish a quarterly newsletter that's available to our members. Please click here to read a past issue of the newsletter.
ARFF occasionally offers fun matches, and hosts a USDAA Agility Trial every Labor Day weekend.
Dog/handler teams that have had some previous agility instruction and that can demonstrate basic safe handling practices are invited to apply for membership. Please click here to learn more about joining ARFF.
Our Board of Directors and Committees are essential to our success. Please click here to see who's who.
